Billing Policies

Please be sure to bring your child’s insurance card to each visit. You are responsible for providing us with your child’s current insurance information so that we can accurately bill each office visit.

We are contracted with most of the major health insurance carriers, but it is your responsibility to confirm with your insurer that we are listed on your plan.  It is your responsibility to understand and comply with the terms of the contract between you and your insurance carrier. Some of the services we provide may not be covered by your health insurance and payment for these services are ultimately your responsibility. Please feel free to contact our office with any questions regarding insurance or payment plan options.  

Co-payments or co-insurance are due at the time of your visit. Payments can be in the form of cash, check, MasterCard, Visa, or American Express. 

Pediatricians, INC No-Show Policy (Effective 4/1/24)

At Pediatricians INC, we work very hard to provide care and meet the needs of all of our patients and families in the practice.  At certain times, it is hard to accommodate all the needs and requests of our patients.  When a patient requests or schedules an appointment, they agree to utilize that time and remove that time slot from other patients. We ask that if you do not plan to keep your scheduled appointment time, please let us know so that it can be offered to another patient who may need it.  For this reason, we are instituting a No-Show policy consistent with other practices in the area. We understand that families are busy, and things come up; we only ask that you let us know.  We have also created leniency in the policy to reflect our understanding of your busy lives.  The policy is intended to prevent frequent and recurrent no-shows.  Our new No-Show policy is as follows:

1st No-Show:  You will receive a notification that you did not show up or call to cancel an appointment.  There will also be a reminder of our policy.

2nd No-Show:  You will be charged $25 (a typical co-pay) for the second missed appointment.

3rd No-Show:  You will be charged $150 (a lower level full visit appointment) if you have on three occasions not shows, as well as not called to cancel your appointment.

It is only considered a No-Show if you do not come and do not call to inform us.  Please consider your fellow patients' needs and our staff trying to accommodate you.  Thank you for your understanding and adherence to this policy.
